Possibilities Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre Aberdeen
At Possibilities our experienced and highly qualified psychotherapists (UKCP registered) offer a selected choice of quality counselling services in Aberdeen to help people like you overcome a wide range of emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, stress plus life and relationship problems.
Possibilities Counselling for Individuals offers a space for you to explore questions and concerns you may have about your current personal life challenges and dilemmas, issues in your relationships, difficult past experiences that are interfering with your present functioning and any concerns you have about how these might compromise your future.
In a collaborative and supportive manner, we can help you address these issues, help you develop better coping skills and discover ways of creating the life you would prefer.

Many mental health experts recommend Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as the first choice treatment for emotional problems, such as: anxiety, stress, depression, trauma and anger.
Rather than offer you the dumbed down, less effective and popularised 'handout' versions of CBT, Possibilities provides more effective advanced CBT therapy 'enhanced' with the treasure trove of recent new developments in neuroscience and contemporary psychology research.
Like any therapy, it is not so much the therapy that is important but the skills of the therapist in applying it.
To arrange your initial consultation, please call us.
Possibilities Couples Counselling Aberdeen offers a positive and innovative approach to therapy that couples often find very helpful. You will get much more than just 'listening' and superficial 'sticking plaster' approaches to your problems because we help you heal underlying emotional wounds, regain trust, communicate better, rediscover and reconnect to each other and help you build a relationship that works better for both of you.
A well-functioning couple relationship has an enormous positive influence on your health and well-being, apparently much more than the effect of stopping smoking!
To arrange your initial consultation, please call us.
Important News: We see people face-to-face for therapy at our offices. Please contact us to arrange your initial consultation.

Our second workshop on 29th March 2019 was called - 'Jazzing with the 'Mirrors of Possibility': Co-creating Magic Moments in Couple Therapy.' This highlighted some new therapeutic techniques we are developing for couples counselling and psychotherapy with individuals.
