Possibilities Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre Aberdeen
Some of our clients wanted to provide testimonials as they felt it was important to tell others who might be considering counselling about the positive changes they had achieved and how much counselling at Possibilities has helped them.
As many people wait too long (months and years) before seeking appropriate therapeutic help, they also wanted to tell their story to encourage people to seek help sooner rather than later.
The majority of people who seek counselling, psychotherapy or couples counselling at Possibilities report significant improvements in their emotional well-being, relationships and life.
Many of our clients have kindly provided a written testimonial to inform us and others about their experience at Possibilities, how much they improved and how beneficial counselling was for them.
I suffered from severe anxiety and panic for several years. I had tried counselling elsewhere before but it didn't really help much. Coming to Possibilities changed my life. Now I have the tools and personal resources to manage my anxieties and I've got my life back.

I was extremely reluctant to seek help because I didn't think therapy would help. I'm so glad I came to Possibilities as the CBT therapy I needed to overcome my depression and anger about the past helped me much more than I could ever have imagined.

Possibilities psychotherapists had the pleasure of presenting two workshops at the recent IFTA World Therapy Congress in the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) from 28th to 30th March 2019. The World Therapy Congress was attended by hundreds of psychotherapists from 38 different countries around the world. Possibilities was the only service from North East Scotland presenting.
Our first workshop on 28th March 2019 was entitled - 'A New 'U' in Systemic Bereavement: Undigested Grief, Embodied Stories, Spirituality and CMM' featuring some of the amazing outcomes our clients have achieved using our newly developed approaches.
Our second workshop on 29th March 2019 was called - 'Jazzing with the 'Mirrors of Possibility': Co-creating Magic Moments in Couple Therapy.' This highlighted some new therapeutic techniques we are developing for couples counselling and psychotherapy with individuals.
